Once Human is kicking off 2025 the right way: by introducing a massive patch that provides new features, shop arrivals, and the usual bug fixes and optimisations.

New arrivals include the long-awaited character deletion feature, as well as improvements to ranching. Yes, you can run your very own farm within your favourite survival horror game.

Lastly, there are a bunch of new cosmetics in the store. This also includes the new Battle Pass, Frosty Glory, which will show you in rewards if you progress throughout it.

Let’s take a look at the full list of features within the patch notes.

You Can Now Delete Characters

Not happy with your character? Well, you can now delete them and start over. To do so, use the ‘Character Management’ function to initiate a deletion.

It then takes five days for the character to be permanently deleted, giving you a chance to change your mind.

This frees up a slot allowing you to create a new character if you’ve maxed out your ten.

Ranching Gets Improvements

Ranching has seen vast improvements, which allows you to take better care of your animals, alongside construction improvements.

There are two key differences to animal welfare:

  • Animals will lose less energy and hydration slower
  • Food in the animal trough won’t spoil

In terms of construction, you can now see the attack range of traps and combat facilities when you’re building them, as well as sort your components by frequency of use.

A Brand New Battle Pass and Cosmetic Items

There’s a brand new Battle Pass, Frosty Glory, which will provide you with a whole new fashion set, alongside weapon, cradle, and furniture skins.

Once Human has also introduced battle pass sharing. This allows you to progress the battle pass across all characters on your account.

All rewards you earn are also shared, including cosmetics.

Speaking of which, there is also a new cosmetic set that you can earn from the Lightforge Loot Crate: Stardust Edge. That means Arcane Celestial is also gone.

We’ve included them below as a gallery so you can check them out.
