The massive new PUBG update 33.2 just dropped, and the patch notes are extensive to say the least. It’s chock full of new and returning content, including the return of the infamous Loot Truck.
Elsewhere, Sanhok gets a brand new recall system and Krafton is testin g the ‘Aim Punch’ system in the Arcade. The team wants to gather feedback ahead of the eventual inclusion.
Rounding up, we’ve got a new Crafter Pass, new skins and chromas in the workshop, and, as you can expect, a metric shedload of bug fixes and performance improvements. Let’s take a look at the lot.

New Sanhok Features: Loot Truck and Recall System
We’ve already taken a good hard look at the return of the Loot Truck, so we recommend reading that post linked in the first paragraph. If you can’t be bothered, here’s the tl;dr:
- Four Loot Trucks spawn on Sanhok
- Shoot it to get loot containers
- Destroy it to gain access to the cargo hold, featuring a ton of high quality gear
- The explosion deals damage in a 10 meter radius, so be careful
Then there’s the Recall System, which provides you with flights every two minutes and 30 seconds for the first five phases of the game.

Aim Punch Test
Krafton is holding a test for the upcoming ‘Aim Punch’ system exclusively in the Arcade mode. This sees weapons impact players when they’re shot, with varying different effects depending on the weapon you shoot.
Sniper rifles see the highest level, with handguns featuring the lowest. Krafton will study the feedback it receives for the new system, and make tweaks ahead of a full launch at a later date.

Crafter Pass and Spring Fest 2025
Last of the interesting features is a brand new Crafter Pass, which grants you additional weapon skins and chromas.
Also, Spring Fest is officially returning for 2025! Expect new chromas and progressive weapon skins.
