Rocket League has finally restored 120 FPS support for Xbox Series X/S players, and, to celebrate, Psyonix is giving away a set of rewards to everyone. Among these rewards is a highly sought after new player title: 120 FPS or Bust.
It’s a bit of a shame for those who have been patient on Xbox for well over a month now, but at least Psyonix is providing some form of compensation.
In this guide, we’re going to detail exactly how you can get the new title, as well as the additional rewards. We’ve also got a certain trick to recommend using…
How to Get the 120 FPS or Bust Title in Rocket League
That’s the easy part. All you have to do to get the new player title is… log in! That’s right, Psyonix isn’t limiting the rewards to just those on Xbox, and you can get it on any platform.
What Are the Complete List of Rewards?
The full list of rewards that Psyonix is offering in terms of compensation include:
- 120 FPS or Bust player title
- Exotic Drops x2
- Black Market Drop
Can I Claim Them Multiple Times?
This is where our trick comes in: you can claim the above rewards once per platform you log in on.
So, login once on:
- Xbox (Any)
- PlayStation (Any)
- PC/Mac/Linux (also includes GeForce Now)
- Nintendo Switch
And you can get the following rewards in total:
- Exotic Drops x8
- Black Market Drop x4
That’s not bad at all given you simply have to login.
What Happened With 120 FPS Support on Xbox?
The issues all began when Season 17 dropped on December 4, 2024. Before then, you could play Rocket League in 120 FPS on both your Xbox Series X or S. But then, something got borked and it took until yesterdays update, v2.48, to fix.
Psyonix hasn’t gone into the specifics about what went wrong, but let’s just be grateful it’s back!
You can read about the latest update on the official Rocket League website.
