SpongeBob Tower Defense The Hunt Mega Edition Token Guide
If you’d rather just get the strategy and skip all of the reading, here’s what we recommend:
- Start with Sandy and place her so she can hit entire lanes of enemies at once
- Upgrade her until max before you encounter the first boss
- Place Mermaid Man SpongeBob, who will make short work of bosses
- Set up the rest of your Bandgeek Sandys to defend the rest of the lanes and upgrade them
- Place another Mermaid Man SpongeBob or two each time you face a boss and upgrade them
- Squidward and Mr. Krabby are great at clearing groups, so place them in chokepoints
- Pop Patrick and Grandma out at the end to fill any gaps
Step One: Start the Quest
Launch SpongeBob Tower Defense and run straight over to the ‘Events’ section of the lobby. Step on either of the two portals to get teleported to the Hunt Mega Edition quest.
This is basically 15 waves of enemies that you have to beat to finish up the quest.
Step Two: Set Up Your Defense
We recommend starting with Bandgeek Sandy, as she deals decent damage in a straight line. Place her where her attack will travel straight down the initial road and upgrade her when you can over the first few waves.
When you encounter your first boss, we recommend placing Mermaid Man SpongeBob to support, as their single target damage will make short work of the enemies.
Aside from that, it’s a fairly easy challenge. Squidward and Mr. Krabs are pretty decent AoE units so place them where enemies are likely to bunch up.
Then, just dot Grandma and Patrick around as you see fit. Keep your Bandgeek Sandys in locations where they can hit entire lanes of enemies at once, and upgrade them first, with SpongeBob second.
Step Two: Defeat Cyborg Plankton
When you hit wave 15, you will face the final boss: Cyborg Plankton. By this point, you shouldn’t have too much trouble taking them down if you’ve placed and upgraded your units appropriately.
Spend the rest of your cash upgrading your Sandy and SpongeBobs and Cyborg Plankton should fall without much effort.
The event will end with you getting the token. Congratulations!
