Warframe arrived on iOS all of the way back in February 2024, leaving Android users behind. Well, not for much longer, it seems, as Digital Extremes has announced that you can now pre-register for the ninja shooter on Google Play.
How Does Warframe Play on Android?
Unlike the recently announced FFXIV Mobile, Warframe on Android is the full experience in the palm of your hands. Sure, there are touch controls if you don’t have a controller, as well as a ton of nips and tucks where visuals are concerned, but it more than holds up for a bit of grinding on the bus.
Sadly, we don’t know exactly when it will arrive. All Digital Extremes has said so far is:
We’re making great progress on the Android build of Warframe, Tenno!

Are There Any Pre-Registration Rewards?
However, if you do opt to pre-register, you will get a login reward the moment you first boot it up. That rewards is ‘The Cumulus Collection’, a gorgeous collection of cosmetics that will help make your Warframe look a lot flashier during the early phases of the game.

The Cumulus Collection includes:
- Cirrus Armour Bundle
- Cumulus Syandana
- Stratus Pistol Skin
- Spektata Colour Palette
- Three Day Resource Booster
That booster will also come in very handy, whether you’re trying to get a jumpstart on your new account or grind for that thing you’ve always wanted on your main.
Can You Play on Your Main Warframe Account on Mobile?
Oh, you weren’t aware that you could bring your main account with you? Well, you can! Warframe now includes full cross save, progression, and play, meaning that no matter the device you’re playing on, your account comes with you.
If you want to, you can also play with your friends on mobile regardless of the device they’re playing on. There’s no reason not to check it out, really.
