The annual Destiny 2 Halloween Festival of the Lost has finally kicked off as of October 29, and will run all of the way until November 19. The festival will give you the chance to trick or treat your way to a host of rewards and fresh content.

The Festival of the Lost
- Begins: October 29
- Ends: November 19
In this year’s Festival of the Lost you will want to head straight to The Tower to meet Eva. When you arrive at The Tower she’ll be waiting for you with a new quest and your new Masquerader’s Hood cosmetic item.
After you’ve completed Eva’s quest you will be granted access to the Haunted Sectors playlist along with the Festival of the Lost rewards.
Haunted Sectors
Haunted Sectors, like always, are the best ways of earning rewards in Festival of the Lost. Battling your way past the hordes of the Headless Ones will reward you with the following treats:
- Candy
- Weapons
- Eerie Engrams
- Manifested Pages
There’s also a bonus for this year: when in the Expert Haunted Sectors you have the chance to acquire more Eerie Engrams.
You can open these for a chance at rewards including Armour and Festival weapons. With a new Weapon and Armour out there, gathering up Eerie Engrams is an important task.
Book Of The Forgotten
If you collect all of the Manifested Pages you unlock The Book Of The Forgotten. This is is next to Eva and provides you a chance to unlock extra lore and rewards by completing its chapters.
The Manifested Pages you need to gather will drop from chests in the Haunted Sectors and many other sources while wearing your mask.

Festival of the Lost Rewards
With plenty to keep you busy during The Festival Of the Lost, lets take a look at some of the new rewards you can earn.
There are two new Wizard Armour sets, with a Good Or Evil variant. You must decide which side of the coin you want to lie on. With the Evil Wizards prevailed for Hunters and Warlocks, while the Good wizards attract the kind hearted Titans. You can make your decision by heading to the Eververse store.

Arcane Embrace is the new gun being added for The Festival Of The Lost. It’s an Arc element Shotgun, and it introduces a new subtype that will hopefully add some awesome combo possibilities. Lets take a look at some of its Specs and Perks.
- Heavy Burst: Fires a hard-hitting, two-round burst. Slightly reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming.
- Column 3: Fourth Times the Charm
- Column 4: Precision Instrument
- Origin Trait: Search Party

With a host of new Masks to collect this year, some will come with more benefits than others. Any Mask you find from the Haunted Sectors will roll with higher stats. Those who want to test themselves further will be rewarded: Expert Haunted Sectors will drop Masks with even higher stats and spikey rolls.
