As we say pretty often on Free to Player, the best games in life are free. While we spend a lot of time covering the best free games, many more are temporarily free. Why would we neglect them?

Well, we don’t. Each week, we round up the best free games that you can download across a range of devices. Sometimes there are loads, other times there are few. Either way, we will be here with the latest recommendations.

So grab your device and download these games, right in time for the weekend.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve | Terrible Posture Games, Skybound Games | Epic Games

The latest free Epic Store game is Invincible Presents: Atom Eve. Play as Atom Eve in a comic book-style adventure, making key decisions, battling opponents, and balancing her real life and alter ego.

Age of Empires Mobile | Level Infinite | iOS / Android

Don’t get too excited: this isn’t a mobile port of any of the four much better Age of Empires games. Instead, it’s a custom built version by Level Infinite, the makers of PUBG Mobile. It’s very much what you expect a free to play version of AoE to play like.

Kardboard Kings | Akupara Games | Epic Games

If you ever fancied opening your own card games store, Kardboard Kings will give you that experience within a game. You can buy cards, sell them, or trade them, all while building up your own collection.

MapleStory Worlds | Nexon | PC

MapleStory Worlds is basically what happens if you combine MapleStory with Roblox. It lets you use the assets from the long-running MMORPG to build your own MapleStory-style adventure.

It’s in soft launch right now only for those in North and South America on PC.

Strinova | iDreamSky | Steam

Strinova combines the hero shooting of Overwatch 2 with anime sensibilities. In fact, you can turn your character into a 2D cartoon at any point, whether to avoid bullets or fit through a tiny gap.

It’s in closed beta right now on Steam right.

Supervive | Theorycraft Games | Steam

If you like League of Legends but wish it had more shooting, check out Supervive. Choose your hero, head into a battle royale match, and customise their gear and abilities on the fly.

Check out the demo up on Steam right now.
