The enormous Way of Winter update just arrived at the tail end of last week, yet Once Human is back at it again with a ton of bug fixes. While Way of the Winter largely launched without issues, there are a few key problems affecting players. We’ve rounded up the patch notes below.

Once Human’s previous big update, Prismverse’s Clash, is also getting a bunch of fixes in this update. Here’s everything that’s fixed, broken down into handy sections.

Not So Eternaland

Let’s start with The Way of Winter. Most notably, the new area of Eternaland was rife with lag and abnormal temperatures, making it a lot more challenging to survive in than it should be. Those two issues are now fixed.

If you selected ‘simplified tasks’ for the scenario, you couldn’t complete tutorial tasks. You can squish that by logging in again. Furnace temperatures will also now display properly, so you don’t have to guess the effect they will take.

Also, if you changed seasons by entering the Way of Winter, you may have noticed that your level changed. Not only has Once Human fixed this, but you get compensation if it happened to you. Result!

This one is less fun, but you now won’t unlock the Thermal Tower Memetic in other scenarios. It’s strictly for Way of Winter, and if you did unlock it via this method, you will lose it.

Deviations

Deviations will no longer regain full energy when you retrieve them, and you won’t get stuck if you die while viewing the Season Shop.

You also no longer have to resycnhronise a Devation by placing it in a Securement Unit. The Invincible Sun Deviation should now interact with this just fine as well.

If you melted the ice cube before taking on the Deviation: Snowsprite mission, you probably couldn’t complete it. This is fixed, and you can try and melt the ice cube again to progress.

Wrapping up, the Black-Nosed Sheep model will now function properly, you can’t respawn Elite enemies in the wilderness anymore, and you won’t receive a prompt that your building’s exceeded your territory’s limits. Well, unless that’s actually true. Previously, it was displaying incorrectly.

Most importantly though, melee executions will now no longer fail. Huzzah!

Dungeon Fixes

If you beat the Elite enemy in Securement Silo – Delta, you may have noticed that the door of flames wouldn’t let you enter. That’s squished.

Those who didn’t receive the correct rewards from Nutcracker – Silver Gentleman should see them arrive in the mail. The issue has also been resolved moving forward, so don’t be afraid to head back in.

Over in the Treant dungeon, you will now see the correct Deviation drops. The Romantic Misty Purple Street material pack is also now worth a purchase, as the issue affecting the Plaster Trim Ceiling wallpaper is fixed.

Use the Cocktail Station to make drinks and the animation will now play correctly.

Prismverse’s Clash Scenario

Tactical item damage will now correctly adjust in Prismverse’s Clash scenario, and V1 and V2 Access Cards will now correctly opening the doors.

If you encountered an issue where you didn’t get Badge rewards, that’s now a thing of the past.
