RuneScape is getting into the festive spirit by bringing back the wonderful Christmas Village. It features all of the content you know and love, alongside brand new content.

There’s a whole new quest alongside new cosmetic rewards, seasonal activities, buffs, rewards, and more. Let’s take a look at the full list of new additions.

Christmas Village Features New Activities

While Christmas Village might look familiar, there’s plenty of new content on offer for 2024.

Chief among this is Diango’s new workshop, which provides you with three new skilling activities. You can craft toys, brew up some hot chocolate, or cut up those lovely fir trees.

Christmas Village returns on December 2, and will remain all the way through to January 5. You can access it via the portal in Burthorpe or the Christmas Village lodestone.

Continue the Story From Last Year’s Quest

Last year, Christmas Village received an all new quest that challenged you to spread some festive spirit. While you can still complete that if you want to, there’s a brand new quest that continues the story.

This year, Santa needs help crafting toys for children across the world. Fortunately, a certain Diango has just set up his own workshop.

So you help stock it with new helpers, uniforms, and seasonal treats to keep them in the mood.

Beat the quest and you can earn a ton of rewards:

  • 5,000 Prismatic XP Lamp
  • 2,000 Christmas Spirit
  • Legacy Christmas Emotes
  • Diango’s Little Helper title
  • Hot Chocolate Rest animation
  • Access to Diango’s Workship skilling activities
  • Winter Hat and Scarf

Visit Santa’s Lodge to Get Gifts

You don’t have to be a kid to get gifts this Christmas. Simply visit Santa’s Lodge in Christmas Village to grab goodies from the head elf himself.

Santa arrives every Sunday between 8PM – 10PM, and provides you with a weekly gift.

In the 30 minutes leading up to his arrival, Snow Imps will also provide additional rewards. These little dudes will chuck presents around, and you have to unwrap one to get the reward.

To get a chance at the highly-coveted Black Hat reward, you need to gather Nice Points by delivering letters to Santa. You can deliver up to three of these each day, and when you do so you enter a draw to get the hat.

Beat the following activities to earn a letter once per day:

  • Speak to Clementine
  • Complete your Daily Challenges
  • Complete seasonal activities

You can earn a maximum seven nice points per week, which provides you with additional draws to get the coveted black party hat.

In addition, you can earn the following rewards per week:
