Throne and Liberty has just dropped the patch notes for update 1.5.0, which features a new Battle Pass, Epic reward selection chests for Field Bosses, and a whole host of bug fixes across all platforms.
Many of these details were announced previously in a video. Let’s take a look at everything that’s on offer in update 1.5.0.
Throne and Liberty 1.5.0 Maintenance Downtime
- Begins: October 30 10:30 PM PT / October 31 5:30 AM UTC
- Ends: October 31 at 4:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM UTC
Throne and Liberty will enter a maintenance downtime period on October 30 at 10:30 PM PT, which will last six hours.
Battle Pass: Phantom Tracker’s Star
The new Battle Pass is Halloween-themed and will feature the following:
- Emotes
- Amitoi
- Outfit (Grin Reaper?)
- Morph
- Amitoi
Shop
The Lucent shop will feature the following new Halloween-themed rewards:
- Outfit
- Morph
- Amitoi
Field Bosses
Field Boss portals will now scale depending on the number of players participating, allowing a greater spread of players and a better chance to earn individual rewards via contribution.
You also have a chance of dropping an Epic reward selection chest, which allows you to pick any Epic item that the boss has a chance of dropping.
Dungeon
You can no longer defeat Karnix using gravity in Death’s Abyss.
Combat
You will now gain crowd control immunity much faster when targeted with multiple effects in a short time.
Adventure Codex
You now gain a bunch more XP from completing Adventure Codex objectives.
Event Dungeons
If an event dungeon ends before you recruit a team, Throne and Liberty will now automatically cancel your queue.
Items
You can now view a preview of an item’s maximum stats when you fully enhance it. That will take out a lot of guesswork.
Guilds
You can now see your guild’s overall Guild Points, Guild Activity Points, and individual Guild Member Activity Points on the Guild screen.
Your customised chat tabs won’t vanish when you leave a guild.
Creating guilds with multiple characters on the same account no longer defaults your Guild to Friendly status.
Quests
The Chapter 6 quest Restoring the Heart: Golem’s Heart now displays the correct second label.
Crafting
Queen Bellandir and Tevent now have crafting recipes.
Movement
You can now turn more tightly when playing with a mouse and keyboard.
Localisation
A bunch of untranslated text has now been corrected.
Controller
Throne and Liberty has provided a number of quality of life improvements for controller users.
Arch Bosses
You should now no longer crash when battling Queen Bellandir.
Dynamic Events
Completing the final tier of Requiem of Light and Festival of Fire now grants you personal completion rewards.
Grin Reaper
You can now correctly die the boot colour of this outfit.
UI Changes
There are a bunch of miscellaneous UI changes:
- Chat: You can have two more customisable tabs now
- HP: Health bars now display your shielding
- Targeting: The UI indicator is bigger now
- Stellar Vision: You will now see number indicators next to the target list
- Matchmaking: The previous settings will remain when you reopen the window
- Console: A bunch of updates
